From high school darkrooms to studying photography and journalism in college, I loved the way a single frame could preserve a fleeting moment or highlight the beauty in the everyday. My early work was often with my dad’s camera—capturing architecture, people, and travel scenes both in the U.S. and abroad.
With a growing passion for interior design, I realized that many designers didn’t have the imagery they needed for websites and social media—so Emery Davis Photography was born.
For many years, I worked in special education with young children, but after having my second child in 2016, I felt called back to my creative roots.
When I step into a space, I see it as a piece of art waiting to be translated into images. Rather than one single photo, I create a collection that works together to tell your design story—capturing the details, textures, and atmosphere that bring your work to life. The result is a curated image library you can use across editorial, web, and social platforms.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me chasing after my three kids, playing tennis, getting lost in a good book, or spending time outdoors.
